The list of heroines for the "Marmayogi" been increased as it was expected that it was two heroines but the number had been increased to five. Now Universal Hero Kamal Hassan has finalised the top 5 sensational ladies of the Industry for his upcoming project "Marmayogi". The busiest actress Trisha being roped for the film and she is going to appear as Kamal's lover in the movie while Shreya Saran play as his wife. A source revealed that the actress Hemamalini will appear in a negative role for the firs time against Kamal Hassan for the film "Marmayogi". The National award winner actress Shobana is also performing one of the role in which she is playing the character of Classical dancer who got loves Kamal (who appears three different roles in Sangam age).

At last the hot actress Mumaith Khan who is going to appear in a vital role beneath the item number. According to Kamal's Official sources that the shooting of the movie to be launched in the second week of this month in a grand manner. The grapevine is abuzz that there will be five females of all hue and colour in Kamal Hassan's magnum opus Marmayogi!

Yes, five deadly females. They are heroine Trisha who will appear in most number of scenes, followed by Hema Malini who is rumoured to be playing the role of a negative character. Then there is Shreya who will play Kamal's first wife. Then there is a very strong role for National Award winning actress Shobhana.

The latest to join the bandwagon is Mumaith Khan, the item girl! Mumaith according to sources has also a role with grey shades. Mumaith has just completed an item song with Vikram for Kanthasamy.

Trisha in Sarvam

Trisha and Arya are in the lead roles.  Some one spread a rumour that there was a clash between Trisha and Vishnuvardhan.  But shooting of the film is going on without any interruption.

There is a scene in the film where Trisha is dying and Trisha did not like it.  That was the essence of the rumour.  Aside from that Trisha had acted in a two-piece swimming dress in a song sequence that was shot in Goa.

Having dressed up homely Nayantara in a two-piece dress, Vishnuvardhan had done the same thing with Trisha.  But don't expect to see Trisha in a dress like Nayantara.  Reason: Trisha is only wearing a semi swimming dress.

Marmayogi Photo Shoot

Actor Kamal Haasan is not aversed to experiments. Known for trying out innovations and novelties in his films, the actor has managed to shoulder the momentum in a high spirit for the last four decades in Tamil cinema.

In his last 'Dasavatharam', he played 10 different roles which were strikingly different from one other and caricatured his emoting skills to a new level. 

For his next venture, 'Marma Yogi' Kamal Haasan had reportedly used the 'spray makeup' technique during the photo shoot. This has so far been used only in Hollywood and Kamal is reportedly the first to bring it to the Indian film industry. The advantage of using 'spray makeup' is that it gives a uniform color to the face and body.

'Marma Yogi' is being directed by the actor himself with Trisha and Shreya playing the heroines. Kamal Haasan is sure a boon to the tinsel Ville who surges Tamil movies to a global reach.

Abhiyum Naanum - Music Review

Abhiyum Naanum is from the highly successful actor-director Prakashraj. The film features him in the lead role as well as behind the screens as its producer. Along with him in the cast is Trisha. Vidyasagar's music is sure to add a remarkable dimension to this touching theme that deals with the relationship between a father and a daughter. 

'Azhagiya' in S.P.B.'s voice has a youthful vigour. Kailash Kher's rendition in 'Chinnamma Kalyanam' adds zing to the song. 'Moongil Kattu' is a fast-paced instrumental bit. 'Ore Oru Oorile' is again a solo by Kailash Kher. The tune here is very very rustic and the talented singer establishes the mood very well in the humming that preludes the number.'Pachai Kaatre' has an instrumental version and the same tune is also sung by Sadhana Sargam. It is the most mellifluous number in the album with Sadhana's voice adding more life to it.The next, 'Sher Punjabi' by Rehan Khan, has a predominant Punjabi flavour. True to its grammar, the song has all the usual and attractive elements in it. 'Vaa Vaa En Dhevadaye' by Madhu Balakrishnan is based on a simple yet charming tune. This song too has an instrumental piece at the end of the album.

Vidyasagar has absolutely satisfied his listeners through the eleven gratifying numbers in the album.

Who delayed Abhiyum Naanum?

The audio launch of Prakash Raj's Abhiyum Naanum was held on 27th September amidst much fanfare in Chennai. The audio was released by the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M. Karunanidhi and was received by his daughter and Member of Parliament Kanimozhi. Reacting to a press person's question on Trisha role in Abhiyum Naanum's delay, Prakash Raj said that the film was completed within one year and he did not wish to disclose his personal problems during filmmaking in public meets.

According to Prakash Raj, the film is about the father-daughter relationship but is in no way connected with his personal life. The actor-producer added that Abhiyum Naanum is an out-and-out director Radha Mohan's film.

Kuruvi -150 days of celebrating Vijay and Trisha

Vijay starrer 'Kuruvi' has managed a 150-day run across theatres in Tamilnadu. Produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin and directed by Dharani, the movie featuring Vijay, Trisha and Suman in the lead roles, witnessed mixed reviews at the box office.

However, thanks to the racy script and Vijay's popularity among the masses, the movie opened big and gradually settled down to do a decent business at the box office.

The cast and crew thanked the film-buffs for helping the movie complete a 150-day run. According to director Dharani, "I thank the producer Udhayanidhi Stalin, actor Vijay and the rest of my crew for the successes".

Post 'Gilli', Vijay-Dharani-Trisha and music composer Vidyasagar tag teamed for 'Kuruvi'. Fortunately, they succeeded in their attempt.

Trisha in Telugu

Trisha is getting ready for her role in 'Marmayogi.' In a hitherto unknown move, she has given call sheet for 100 days at a stretch.

She has said that she is happy she would be shooting for 100 days with Kamal sir and it would surely be an enriching experience for her.

Before 'Marmayogi,' Trisha is to act in a Telugu film. It is directed by Lawrence . Trisha earlier got an offer to act with Nagarjuna in 'Don' directed by Lawrence . Because of issues, she could not take up the offer.

This Telugu film in which she is to act is also opposite Nagarjuna and is titled King.

Shobana in Marmayogi

My goodness! The list of heroines for Marmayogi keeps extending and we think Kamal Haasan should be feeling enough with it. After roping in Hema Malini, Trisha and Shreya, the latest heroine joining the long queue is none other than actress Shobana who has been the classiest performer of all times. She has earlier paired up with Kamal Haasan for the film 'Enakkul Oruvan' and now she has been offered to play a meaty role.

Shooting for the film would commence by next month in Mumbai and major portion is scheduled at Southern, Western and interiors of Karnataka. Again, a photo shoot involving Kamal Haasan and Shobana would be held at AVM Studios while rest of the heroines Trisha and Shriya are involved in vivid practice of enunciating Tamil dialogues in the style of back ancient days of 7th Century.

Kamal's 'Marmayogi' 4-heroines

Next to Kamal Haasan's dream project 'Dasavatharam', the magnum opus 'Marmayogi' has already made it to the news stirring expectations that it will be nothing short of incredible.

Latest buzz is a new technique of spray makeup is being used in this film. An accolade is that this is first ever happening in the history of Indian Cinema. The latest news is about the heroines of this film.

Acquainted news is that Trisha has already been roped in to play the heroine. Shreya has also rendered her consent to appear alongside Trisha in another lead role. Now it is learnt that there will be 4-heroines in this film. Along with the newbies, the yester year's dream-girl Hemamalini and popular actress Shobana are proposed to share screen space along with the other two actresses.

Further, they will be cast in the sequences featuring 8th century incidents. Another scoop is some of the sequences is to be shot near Sivasamudram waterfall, in Mandya District of Karnataka, and few others at various exquisite locales.

who is No:1 Kollywood now?

It was Asin and Trisha competing each other to take the chair of No:1 in Kollywood, but Asin did a blunder and went to Mumbai where she is staying jobless.  Asin may move out of India to settle down in London, by which her chapter will be closed.

On Asin's exit, Nayantara came back and made Trisha to hide in shelter.  Even though Trisha had guts to circulate her nude bathroom clips Nayantara had guts to appear in bikini fr the silver screen without any hesitations.  Trisha had strong family background and a Boy Friend in the form of Vijay, while Nayantara had talents to get a BMW car worth few millions for just partying with her Tollywood guests.

Nayantara was so eager getting associated with Rajini and made him to praise about her curves.  Trisha was consistently playing tricky cards rather than facing Nayantara directly.

As of now Nayantara is sad and quite due to failure of Kuselan and Sathyam.

Trisha will not be seen in any movies for next couple of years as she has committed herself for Kamal and she is busy with Marmayogi.

Kamal's 'Marmayogi' to kickstart soon

'Marmayogi' is garnering every bit of attention ever since it was announced and the latest news is that the film will start shooting in October in Mumbai. The film will be directed by Kamal and stars Trisha, Shreya, Hema Malini and Venkatesh apart from the versatile actor himself. The film is to be made in Tamil, English, Telugu and Hindi simultaneously.

'Dasavatharam' opened across many theaters with mixed reviews but then has made it quite majestically to hundred days. Adding to this majestic appeal is the way 'Marma Yogi' is being planned.

Reports indicate that the Red Camera will be used and a Hollywood cinematographer has been roped in. Kamal and make-up are becoming synonymous these days and one can expect a flamboyant approach with this period film as well. A team of make-up specialists from Hollywood will be part of the team. A new technique called 'Spray Make-up' is being introduced to Indian Cinema with this film.

An extravagant Project Launch for the film is expected to take place in Mumbai after which shooting will commence. The team would fly to many parts of the world including Sweden and of course many parts in India. Set in the 7th century AD, 'Marmayogi' is expected to showcase a slice of life as it happened then including the diction and social themes.

Kamal Haasan is known to be quite a perfectionist and with his experience, one can expect a stunning affair.

Another huge factor that has to be spot on for 'Marmayogi' is the costumes part. Being a period film authenticity will have to be maintained in order to be accepted and Gauthami has been assigned this responsibility.

Tamil tution for 'Marma Yogi' Shreya and Trisha

'Marma Yogi' started off with a photo shoot at the AVM Studios in Chennai recently and Kamal Haasan, Trisha, Shreya and Hema Malini were part of it. All actors looked ravishing at the photo shoot especially because of a new form of make-up that was used. Called Spray Make-Up, this is probably the first time it is used for an Indian film.

The results were there to see as both Trisha and Shreya glowed with radiance and charm. Kamal Haasan, who has written the script, will also be directing the film. Touted to be the costliest film to ever come from India the film will be shot using the most modern Red Camera. A cinematographer and a team of make-up artists from Hollywood are expected to be part of the film.

Interestingly, some prominent actors of the film who would dub for themselves like Trisha will be trained to speak in chaste Tamil as was spoken centuries ago. Trisha has been provided with a trainer who has started coaching her in Senthamizh. Looks like the perfectionist in Kamal Haasan does not want to leave any stone unturned.

Marmayogi Trisha and Shreya

Dubbing voices are saving many a heroine. Tamil actresses are no exceptions. Since films are made with the commercial aspect in mind, no one pays attention to voices. But those who want full recognition, a dubbing voice is a bit of a drawback.

If a film has to be entered for awards, everyone must speak in their own voices. Dubbed voices are unacceptable. If Priya Mani had not spoken in her own voice in 'Paruthiveeran,' she would have missed her award.

Kamal is very alert to this. In 'Hey Ram,' he made even Shahrukh and Rani Mukherjee speak in their own voices. Asin's agrahara Tamil in 'Dasavataram' is her own voice.

In 'Marmayogi' also, everyone will dub for themselves. Even though Trisha is a Tamilian, she does not speak good Tamil. 'Marmayogi' is a historical film and the language is formal Tamil. So, Trisha is training to speak pure Tamil.

If that's the case with Trisha, what about Shreya? Kamal is not sparing her either. She is to speak in her own voice. Maybe Tamil will die a slow death!

Trisha is being taught historical Tamil with its ascent and pronunciation since the film Marmayogi is an historical film. The 100 Crore project is being produced by Pyramid Saimira and directed by Kamal Hassan. Trisha and Shreya are pairing with Kamal in the historical film. Kamal has requested these artistes to speak in their own voices instead of dubbing to order to get the real effect.

Abhiyum Naanum Audio relese on Sep27

The makers of the film 'Abhiyum Naanum' have come up with a novel way to promote the film that delves into the beautiful relationship between a father and daughter played by Prakash Raj and Trisha.

A painting competition titled 'Dad and I' is to be held in Chennai and Coimbatore inviting boys and girls between the ages 4 and 14.

The participants will be asked to paint creative pictures about their relationships with their respective dads. Wonderful talent would really be on display here.

The winner of the competition would be felicitated with two Kingfisher Airline tickets to Goa for a holiday. Moreover the drawing would be showcased as part of the movie posters crediting the child. Reports also suggest that 20 surprise spot-prices will be given away. The rest of the paintings would be gifted to the respective dads for them to cherish.

Meanwhile, the audio release function for 'Abhiyum Naanum' will happen on the 27th of September. Chief Minister Karunanidhi along with his daughter Kanimozhi will launch the CDs and cassettes.

Marmayogi Shooting start

Kamal is Big Project Marmayogi is all set to start shooting shortly. The big budget film is expected to cost over 120 crore, reportedly the most expensive Indian movie so far. Yester years dream girl, Hema Malini has already been signed up for the film. She had graced the audio release function of Kamal Haasan's Dasavathaaram, also spelt Dasavatharam, a while back.

Trisha had already committed herself for the film with bulk dates of about 200 days, which means that she will not be able to shoot for any other movie during that time. Though this meant turning down several plum offers in Telugu and Tamil, she jumped at the chance to work with Kamal Haasan and to get the role of a life time with the great actor.

Working with Kamal is so prestigious that leading heroine Shreya has agreed to play the second heroine in Marmayogi as well. Pyramid Saimira and Kamal Haasan's Raj Kamal films will be producing this magnum opus to be directed by the maestro Kamal himself. Previously, Kamal Haasan had directed Hey Raam and Virumandi, both critically and commercially acclaimed masterpieces. The movie will reportedly be made in four languages: Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi.

The shooting is all set to kick off in Sweden in October.

Is Vishnuvardhan's Arya - Trisha - J.D Chakravarthy starrer Sarvam jinxed?

After two technicians died in a lift accident on the sets of the film, its villain JD got injured on the sets of the film.

The last schedule of the film has been going on in Munnar, and during a fight scene being picturised, JD got badly injured when he got hit on the chest.

Kollywood astrologers had advised Vishnu not to keep the Sarvam title for film, but he went ahead and shot.

But in a superstitious industry there are so many unexplained and unrelated incidents that occurred on the sets of the film. Now we hear the title of the film may change.

Its again Asin Vs Trisha.  Yet again Trisha won the game!

It was Kamal and his team who went on searching for 10 females as if all of them will be pairing with him in the movie Marma Yogi!

The team approached even Nayantara, Asin, Trisha, Iliana etc.,

But, all of a sudden they settled with Trisha.  They do not have any idea to add any other females in the list to pair with Kamal.

Abhiyum Naanum Audio release Sep27

The Prakash Raj, Trisha starrer 'Abhiyum Naanum' is directed by Radha Mohan and produced by the corporate production house Moser Baer. The film delves deep into a wonderful relationship between a father and a daughter.

As reported earlier, Praksh Raj had approached the Chief Minister of Tamilnadu, M. Karunanidhi and requested him to release the music album. The actor also emphasized to the Chief Minister that since this is a film on the relationship between a father and a daughter, it would be appropriate if the CM's daughter Kanimozhi, receives the first copy.

Both the CM and Kanimozhi agreed to this and the audio launch function is slated to happen on the 27th of September.

Trisha and Shreya in Marmayogi?

Kollywood grapevine is very sure that Trisha and Shreya will star as heroines in Marmayogi, the 100-crore project of Kamal Haasan and Pyramid Saimira. Earlier, it was rumoured that Kajol and Padmapriya would act alongside Kamal Haasan. Well, if this news turns out true it will be a treat to watch the two most famous ladies of Kollywood together in a film for first time.

Trisha sparkles in King

King, starring Nagarjuna and Trisha with Srinu Vaitla directing it, is in brisk progress. D. Siva Prasad is the producer. Devi Sri Prasad, the music director, has given some excellent tunes. Nagarjuna said that he is enjoying each and every day on the sets and the film is shaping out very well.

'Abhiyum Naanum' music album coming soon

Moser Baer is producing a film titled 'Abhiyum Nanum' in association with Duet Movies. 'Abhiyum Nanum' is directed by Radha Mohan and the story  is about the bond between a father and daughter. Prakash Raj plays the caring father while Trisha has been cast as the daughter.

Plans are on to launch the film's audio at a function which will have Chief Minister M Karunanidhi, his daughter and Rajya Sabha MP Kanimozhi as the chief guests. Vidyasagar has scored the music.

Radha Mohan had earlier directed films like 'Azhagiya Theeyae' and 'Mozhi' before. 'Mozhi' went on to become a big hit and fetched several honors for Radha Mohan.

‘Abhiyum Naanum’-Location

Trisha to turn down glam roles

After seeing young actresses easily grabbing away the chances, Trisha has decided to change her get up and style in forthcoming films. The actress had approached some of her close friends and beauticians to get suggestions to improvise her looks, after realizing her aging appearance in movie Kuruvi. They have suggested that she could concentrate more on diet and exercises. Also they advised her not to attend the evening parties. According to sources, now the actress is concentrating more on exercises, but she could not control herself in attending the evening parties. She openly says her friends that she is unable to control her attitude. Also Trisha has assured that she would no more go for unnecessary glamorous roles and would be focusing on homely roles. She is currently acting in films Abhiyum Naanum and Chennayil oru Mazhaikaalam. Her new film with Surya under the direction of Selvaraghavan will be launched soon.

Chennayil Oru Mazhai Kaalam - Trisha and Goutham

Trisha may very busy in Tollywood but when it is time to smear the greasepaint for a Tamil film she is all ready. The actress, currently in the Telugu Desam for a project with Nagarjuna, was in Munnar for three days last week (17, 18 and 19) to complete the Abhiyum Naanum shooting. With Vaaranam Aayiram shooting tipped to come to an end during the last week of July, its director Gautham Menon is also gearing up to complete Chennayil Oru Mazhai Kaalam, which he had left halfway through to accommodate Surya. COMK, which has Trisha in the lead role, will resume some time in the end of August, says sources. Trisha is expected to arrive right on time to complete this venture for Gautham Menon.

Trisha next movie sarvam

Director Vishnuvardhan's next venture is Sarvam. It has Arya and Trisha in the lead. Vishnuvardhan, after giving hits like Arindhum Ariyamalum, Pattiyal, and Billa, has now written an action-packed story for Arya. Initially, actor Suriya was slated to play the lead role but he could not allot any dates. Director Vishnuvardhan thought Arya would fit the bill perfectly and approached him. Actor Arya, who was earlier fully occupied by Bala's Naan Kadavul, was able to oblige since the movie was nearing completion. Vishnuvardhan even modified the script keeping in mind Arya's image. Also, this would be the first time Trisha and Vishnu Vardhan are coming together. Though Vishnu had approached Trisha earlier, Trisha could not accept it. Now they both are determined to make their maiden venture a memorable one. One more attraction in this movie apart from the hulky Arya and Hot Trisha is J.D. Trisha walked the ramp at the Chennai based designer Sidney S S- Spring Summer 2008- "All the World's a Stage". "It was a great experience, after nearly seven years I'm walking the ramp but I 'm not used to walking with stilettos. I think acting in front of the camera is far easier than walking the ramp," says the actress. Trisha and her gang did not wait to have dinner at the Taj after the show, as they were almost mobbed by the huge turnout at the function. So they did the next best thing by going to the Leather Bar at The Park, and celebrating Sidney's success show!Also walking the ramp were top models like Sheetal Mallar, who flew in specially for the ace designer. “Kuruvi” in Vijay,Trisha

Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay and Dream Girl of south India Trisha starrer "Kuruvi", is the hottest property of the industry at present. Last week we reported that the movie was sold to a whooping amount of Rs 1.50 crore in Kerala. Now the movie has fetched Rs 1.20 crore towards Karnataka rights. 'Mandya' Srikanth, a Tamil film distributor in Karnataka, who owns Nanda and Yuvasri theatres in Mandya, has purchased the distribution rights of "Kuruvi". It is officially announced that "Kuruvi", produced by Udayanidhi Stalin under the banner of Red Giant Movies and directed by Dharani, would hit the halls somewhere between April and May (during Tamil month Chithirai). The makers of "Kuruvi" have made it official through print ads that appeared on Sunday in the leading newspapers.

Vijay and trisha forthcoming film Kuruvi is already making waves. Despite the not-so-great response to his Azhagiya Thamizh Magan, Vijay continues to be hot among the distributors. The distributor is Mahi who has previously produced and distributed two big films starring Suresh Gopi and Dileep in Malayalam. Arya will act in director Vishnuuvardhan's next, which will be produced by Ayngaran International. The movie was expected to be a double hero subject with Arjun tipped to be the other hero. Trisha-Bheema The wait is finally over

A year long wait for fans of Vikram has finally come to an end with his Bheema all ready to polish the screens. This long pending project was in the cans for numerous reasons and every festive occasion that passed seemed like a possible release date. The censors have cleared this movie on the 31st of December and given it 'A' certificate for some graphic violence and Bheema is all ready for release in the Pongal weekend. In the middle of all this, there was also a buzz that Bheema may not make it for Pongal and that it would only see a late January release owing to some pending financial issues. All this was put to an end today with the producers claiming that the film is on schedule and will hit the theatres on January 11th in order to cash in on the six day long Pongal weekend. The financial mess which was dogging the film has been settled by London Karunas of Ayngaran films. It has been reported that notices have been issued to Vikram's fan clubs to start decorating the theatres on the 10th itself. Vikram fans can heave a big sigh of relief now that Bheema is finally arriving with a big hit this Pongal.

Trisha to dubs for ‘Abhiyum Naanum’..?

Trisha under Selvaraghavan’s direction

The film will be the 30th of Panju Arunachalam's PA Art productions. He started producing films in 1977, starting with 'Kamal's 'Kalyanaraman.' He wants his 30th film to be a special one. Selvaraghavan is eventful directing 'Aayirathil Oruvan' after which he will direct Vivek Oberoi in the Hindi remake of '7G Rainbow Colony.' After that, he will work on Panju Arunachalam's movie. In this as yet untitled film, Surya and Trisha play the lead roles. After 'Vaaranam Aayiram,' Surya will act in Sevaraghavan's film. This being the 30th film of PA Art Productions, it is said Rajini was approached for his call sheet. If Rajini is openhanded enough, this could be a big year for PA Arts!

Trisha was always different and she continues to be different. Among all the young raise of actresses in the industry, it is Trisha who is number one. She knows this entirely well. She is also one of the highest paid in Kollywood. Trisha is rigid that, she will not do item numbers. She does not care for the money. Items numbers fetch a lot of money, for a five minute appearance, they get paid as much as 50 lakhs is some instances. But Trisha says that, for her it is a matter of principle. She has made up her mind not to do item roles, irrespective of the money or the actor.

Trisha’s new mummy in Abhiyum Naanum!

Lakshmi Gopalasamy, the Bangalore-based dancer and actress, had initially agreed to play Trisha's mom in Abhiyum Naanum. However, at the last minute, she decided to back off from the project. She feels that at a time when she is still playing heroine roles with Mammootty and Mohanlal, doing mother roles may not be a very judicious decision. It is heard that Aishwarya has been approached for the role and she has readily agreed. Abhiyum Naanum, directed by Radha Mohan, is produced by Prakash Raj's Duet Films and Moser Baer.

Trisha reject to act opposite Nagarjuna

Trisha was supposed to pair opposite Nagarjuna in his upcoming film Don. But at the last minute she was sacked. The latest buzz is that Trisha, has denied to act opposite Nagarjuna in his next film that would be directed by Prabhudeva. Though there is no information about this Nagarjuna starrer that would be directed by Prabhudeva here in Tollywood media, there was gossip in Tamil media for a couple days. It is also said that Trisha has denied to pair opposite Malayalam star Dileep. It is said that Trisha denied the offers because she is busy with Tamil films.

Trisha, Vikram and the sun kissed beaches

After hibernating for what seemed to have been a year or so, there appears to be life in the Bheema stable these days. Lingusamy is all set to wrap up his mega budget for a mid summer release - after Sivaji that is. For it's final schedule, the crew along with Trisha and Vikram are taking the flight in the name of a duet on April 11. Earlier, the shoots were decided to be held in Australia and - for reasons unknown - the crew's itinerary is now rewritten for a New Zealand trip. They will fly to the charming country to bring home scenes of Vikram and Trisha's romance in the sun kissed beaches, panoramic lakes, and breathtakingly beautiful peaks. Can't wait to see them onscreen? Travel back in time and rewind their earlier chemistry in Sami.

Trisha announce to the viewers

The bubbly girl said that she would be working on a distinct look for Bheema just as it was the Iyer mami look in Sami. She disclosed that she has undergone dance training for Prabudeva's Pournami knowing his penchant for perfection and grace in dance movements. She disclosed her secret wish list of directors with whom she would like to work as Shankar, Bala and Selvaraghavan. Are these guys listening?

‘Romeo’ for December 20

Dileep will have the release of his new film 'Romeo' on the 20th of December. The shoot for the film was completed last week. Dileep plays Manu a male home nurse, who is romantically inclined to female singers and romances Vimala and Samvrutha at the same time. Produced and scripted by the director duo Rafi -Mecartin, the film will offer a laugh riot in the direction of Rajasenan. The film is a pay back by the super hit director of today to their mentor Rajasenan, who introduced them to filmdom as scriptwriters, twelve years back through the super hit movie, 'Aniyan Bava Chettan Bava'. It is after a gap of six months that Dileep is able to make a release of his film. The last film by the star 'July 4', which got released on July 5 was a washout in the box office. But the other Dileep releases of the year, 'The Speed Track' and 'Vinodhayathra' were good earners. His 'Calcutta News' which was poised to reach the theatres for the last Onam couldn't get completed even this week, for a multitude of reasons. It was this delay that upset all the plans of the star which resulted in a big gap of releases of his movies for the last six months.

On the sets of Kuruvi!

Vijay-Trisha starrer Kuruvi, directed by Dharani, started off on a tight schedule of shooting. Huge sets were put up at the MGR Film City where a song sequence and some scenes were shot. Then the crew continued the shoot in Irungaattukottai. Another set was also put up at Sriperambudur. Recent rains in the city postponed the shooting for two days. The call sheets of a group of models brought from Mumbai and Bangalore for the song sequence went waste due to the postponement. The models have been booked and paid in advance. But the delay and the subsequent wastage does not seem to bother the crew and they are back in action.

Trisha says No

Trisha who is currently shooting for Ravi Teja's Telugu tap will shift base to Kollywood where she will be seen pairing with Vijay in Dharani's Kuruvi. She is also at the same time shooting for Radha Mohan's Abhiyum Naanum. After which she is keenly looking forward to Gautham Menon's Chennaiyil Oru Mazhaikalam. In the middle of this entire horde of projects she says she was busy with requests from producers to do cameos in movies in the form of item songs. 'This was the case last year as well" she says. However, Trisha states that she has turned down these requests on the grounds that she was not interested in doing item numbers. She went on to add that she was even offered the chance to perform Ballelakka opposite Rajini which she couldn't accept due to non availability of dates, the only apologize for she has till date.

Trisha’s ‘Bheema’ gets a official pardon

The Madras high Court has declined to grant stay on Trisha's 'Bheema'. A petition was filed by a travels company claim that Sri Surya Movies, who had produced 'Bheema', had card dues for air tickets bought from them to go abroad and shoot 'Bheema'. Hence the petitioners sought a stay on the movie's release. When the petition came up for hearing at the Madras High Court on Friday, the Judges declined to grant the stay and they rather insisted the production house to pay dues from their property security amount. The re-recording works for 'Bheema' has commenced and buzz is that the movie would hit the screens during the last week of November. The film stars Trisha,Vikram and Prakash Raj in lead roles. Lingusamy has directed the movie. Harris Jayaraj has do the music.

Abhiyum Naanum is a Tamil feature film produced by Prakash Raj and directed by Radha Mohan. The movie, which has a critically highly praised storyline, has Trisha Krishnan as the heroine with Prakash Raj playing a pivotal role as her father. Vidyasagar is scoring the music. Sreekar Prasad is to handle the editing. The film has been announced and the rest of the cast is still to be announced. The film is set to be released in 2008.

Trisha acts in ‘Chennayil Oru Mazhaikaalam

It's rain time in Chenani again. Even if the trees want to relax, the wind won't let them be. The same way, youth is expected and this is true in Gautham's case. Some time back, Gautham Vasudeva Menon started the film 'Chennayil Oru Mazhaikaalam' to star Surya and Asin. Gautham wanted Abhirami as heroine, Surya wanted Jyotika, but they finally agreed on Asin. But after a few days of shooting, Surya announce dropping out of the film. Now 'Chennayil Oru Mazhaikaalam' that stopped because of Surya is now revived thanks to Surya himself.After carrying out half of 'Vaaranam Ayiram,' Surya moved to act in and complete 'Vel.' In the intervening time, Gautham is directing a film featuring 4 heroes including his assistant Karthi. The heroine is Trisha. And the film is titled 'Chennayil Oru Mazhaikaalam.' The story of this film has nothing to do with the film Surya was to have acted in. Only the title remains the same.'Chennayil Oru Mazhaikaalam' would have started when Surya was acting in 'Vel.' 'Vaaranam Ayiram' is stuck again in call sheet problem and the person most to be pitied is the manufacturer who has invested money in it.

‘Bheema’ to be released soon

Bheema starring Trisha and Vikram in the lead role is to be released soon. As the post-production work is almost over, the film is waiting for release now. Sources say that producer A M. Rathinam is to decide the release date. It is to be noted that the Vikram-Trisha duo are pairing up after the super-hit movie Saamy. Bheema has been in the making for a long time and it is finally nearing completion. A few days of shooting in Madurai of some scenes and the talkie part will be complete. Then after 2 days of shooting in Chennai, only 2 songs will be left to shoot. Lingusamy has decided to shoot a song in Goa and the unit will leave for Goa shortly. Even though this is an action film, Lingusamy says the romance between Vikram and Trisha is real cool and he is taking extra care to see that the scenes have he romantic atmosphere. No song has been shot abroad for Bheema. So after the shooting in India is complete, they plan to fly to Australia to shoot the second song, very much in keeping with Tamil film habits. How has the film come out so far? According to Lingusamy, the story is different from other gangster films and will be liked by all. Trisha will star with Kamal

As per the story of Kamal's Marmayogi, there are going to be two heroines and one is said to be Trisha! Actually Trisha had missed out on Dasavatharam, as she could not accommodate her dates for the film. It is a major boost for her to be paired with the living legend of Tamil cinema. Sources close to the development say that Raj Kamal Films and Pyramid Saimira, the producers of the film will make the official announcement in a few days. Kamal, in a special press meet lashed out at the media for getting hyper about Marmayogi reporting. Kamal said "I am well aware that the respected members of the fourth estate are keen on being the first with the "scoop". We request those who indulge in such inaccurate reporting to contact our respective publicity departments, who will furnish you with accurate information on a need-to-know basis". Anyway those close to Trisha say that she is very happy these days, because it was always her dream to do a film with her all time favorite actor. As of now Trisha has three film commitments and she is planning to finish them off before next month this year and will be getting ready from October for Kamal's Marmayogi as Kamal is said to be demanded her a 180 days call sheet.
