Vijay and trisha forthcoming film Kuruvi is already making waves. Despite the not-so-great response to his Azhagiya Thamizh Magan, Vijay continues to be hot among the distributors. This has been proved by the fact that a Kerala distributor has obtained the Kerala rights of Kuruvi for Rs. 1.5 crores. The distributor is Mahi who has previously produced and distributed two big films starring Suresh Gopi and Dileep in Malayalam. Kuruvi brings together the Ghilli team of Vijay, Trisha, director Dharani and composer Vidyasagar. The film is one of 2008's most awaited films, thanks to the Ghilli success. The film is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin.The film is expected to hit theatres by May.
